i-Fix
An eye on the future, yet without forgetting more than 20 years of experience in designing implants:
these are the basics of the i-Fix system.
In designing the new i-Fix implant system, our aim was to meet the always increasing requirements of our customers, both in terms of technological innovation and in the research of an optimal esthetic result.
Our approach, always oriented towards innovation and flexibility, has led FMD to create the i-Fix, whose main features and benefits are:
Safety and primary stability:
The i-Fix implant is totally treated by SAS (Sandblasted and Acid-etched Surface).
This guarantees an excellent bone-implant interface. All i-Fix implants are sterilized by Gamma Rays.
Reduction of the osseous re-absorption:
The threading is more marked in the apical zone, thus giving more grip to the fixture immediately after insertion, while on the coronal zone there is a micro-threading useful for reducing the osseous re-absorption under load. For further information as regards the threading adopted in the conical implants and the one employed in the cylindrical implants, please refer to our brochure that you can download on line.
First-rate esthetical outcome:
Regarding the i-Fix prosthetic connection, internally the presence of a cone associated with an octagon guarantees a remarkable stability to the abutment, while the octagon makes it antirotational. The i-Fix abutments, thanks to their shape "Platform switch" enable the crown closing far from the osseous level, thus reducing the bone re-absorption and maintaining a good gingival anatomy.
Utilization versatility:
The new i-Fix system is available in four different solutions, F1, F2, F3, F3Wide, with various dimensions both of the neck and of the prosthetic connection. This allows to employ the i-Fix implants in any clinical condition.
